Ares Galaxy
Ares is a free open source file sharing program that enables users to share any digital file including images, audio, video, software, documents, etc. You may now easily publish your files through the Ares decentralized network. As a member of the virtual community, you can search and download just about any file shared by other users. Latest versions support BitTorrent protocol and Shoutcast radio stations. With Ares you can also join chat rooms or host your channel and meet new friends.

FileCroc is another client which is compatible with the Ares network.

Better known as a Direct Connect network which can be used to Chat and/or File Share with other users. It offers a easy to use interface which we highly recommend. Check it out!!!

Filetopia is a free communications software that includes: instant messaging, chat, a powerful file sharing system with a search engine, online friends list and message boards.

Simply Download Filetopia and install.

Under the General section in Channels Listing you will find IMRadio, double click to join.

IRC
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of real-time Internet chat or synchronous conferencing. It is mainly designed for group (many-to-many) communication in discussion forums called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication and data transfers via private message.

To connect you will need to install an IRC client such as mIRC.
